About me

During 22 years service in the Royal Air Force I have gained knowledge, skills and experience in a variety of challenging and dynamic situations. However, it was while volunteering as a STEM Ambassador that I found an unexpected passion. My experience is that children are excited by aviation, and they thrive on challenges that give them opportunities to be creative and try things out.

I decided to create Soaring STEM to follow this passion.

STEM engagement is a way of seeing the connections between the world OUT there and the learning IN the classroom.
